This lot is something I have thought long and hard about for many months. I kept going back and forth as to whether to put 017J3 or 017J2, and I finally concluded that I would just offer a pick of the two. Yes, you read that right, we are going to let you have the option to pick either J2 or J3. A whole lot can be said about this duo, and I could go on for days about why I like this one more, or why I like that one more. What is undoubtably true is their phenotype definitely matches their pedigree. The 017D7 cow, the 2018 Miss World, is the epitome of what a Santa Gertrudis show cow should look like and you bred her to a bull like C-P Copperhead 915C4 – the 2018 National Champion Bull – and your dreams come true. If you are looking for that true show calf and donor prospect, these two must rise to the top easily. As my pal in the Brahman world said about these two females, “When I look at these two heifers, I see the homecoming queen vs. the all-star softball pitcher.” I couldn’t agree more with that statement. I think I speak for everyone when I say I wish I had 100 more like her. Go win you a national championship or a Miss World with either one of these two.
