Selecto is out of performance sire Harco 1323 and one of Hefte Ranch’s best cows, Hefte Ranch A43 “Allie.” Allie, who goes back to Dunlap Harper bloodlines, has produced five natural calves with an average calving interval of 347 days and is now a donor in the Hefte Ranch ET program. Selecto ranks in the top 10% for seven traits, including top 1% WW, YW, HCW, Marbling and REA. He posts a whopping .16 Marbling EPD with a .50 REA. That is hard to find! Selecto had an Adj. WW of 714 lbs and ratioed at 108 in his contemporary group. He scanned over a 5% IMF and a REA of 14.35”. Marbling, REA and growth all combined with genetics that have proven fertility and functionality.
