King Ranch bulls in a developing lot take advantage of the shade during the World Congress visit to King Ranch, Kingsville, Texas.

Brazil was well represented at World Congress and will be hosting the event in 2021. The Brazilian contingent of (left to right) Dijalma and Cleonice Amaral, Alex da Silva, Gustavo and Anna da Cruz, Roberto and Ana Maria Corrêa, and Flaviana and Luis Marques enjoy the evening at the Briscoe Western Art Museum, sponsored by Hefte Ranch, Strait Ranches and the South Texas Santa Gertrudis Association.

Cattle on display at Urbanosky Ranch. The stop also included presentations on the Urbanoskys’ cloning program, as well as a noon meal.

Cattle at San Jose Cattle Company are on display for World Congress delegates. San Jose also hosted the group for lunch, putting on a traditional-themed lunch in a spectacular setting.

LEFT: Gene Kubecka of Wendt Ranches addresses the delegates during a tour of the ranch and cattle. Two trucks hauling flatbeds with straw bales drove throughout parts of the ranch, allowing all to see cow-calf pairs, replacement heifers, young bulls, mature cows and even a herd sire or two. This was the final stop on the tour and preceded the Wendt Ranches/NuGen sale the following day.
