would prefer marketing through a reputable semen company, they will generally take a flat commission on a per-straw-sold basis, based on a negotiated rate. Even if this is an option, it is still important to have a strong marketing plan in place. Most companies don’t take on every bull, so approaching them with a bull that has a strong pedigree, impressive genetic tabulations and a professional picture are all important factors when securing a contract with one of these companies. No matter which approach you take, always make sure you have high-quality semen for sale on superior genetics. Quality never goes out of style!
