NATIONALS June is Junior Nationals month when junior members come together to compete with cattle and hold leadership contests. Twenty heifers are donated through the donated heifer program, which is designed to help improve a junior’s genetics in their herd. At next year’s Junior Nationals, the donated heifers will come to compete for their own championship.

GOALS Held every other year for intermediates and seniors, the Gerts Ongoing Advanced Leadership Summit is a camp full of activities and workshops to aid junior Santa Gertrudis members in becoming effective, compassionate and influential leaders.
