excited for this year as it has gotten off to a great start. In July, the junior board had an amazing retreat in Broken Bow, Okla. We had a great amount of bonding time, which is vital to developing a strong board. We were also very productive in working on the upcoming year, and we are so excited! This month, we are focusing on one of the most impor- tant aspects of the breed – membership. We greatly value our members – active, commercial and junior – because we wouldn’t be successful without passionate members working to improve their herds.
