KR 1131/13 is a combination of King Ranch and Wendt genetics that will fit into a wide variety of breeding options. He is the cowman’s ideal bull, combining calving ease with tremendous growth. His negative BW EPD along with a YW EPD in the Top 1% of the breed makes KR 1131/13 a unique and profitable genetic package. Add in REA and HCW EPDs in the Top 1% of the breed and a Top 2% SC EPD, and you know he will work in any program for all cattlemen. KR 1131/13 has risen to become one of Wendt Ranches’ elite herd sires. He produces low birth weights, heavy weaning weights, extraordinary gain in his sons on feed, and his daughters are some of our best. All of his sons and daughters are extremely gentle. If you’re looking to improve numbers in one mating, KR 1131/13 is a bull that will do that across the board.

Here at Wendt Ranches we believe “Dreamboat” has all the character- istics we are looking and breeding for in a herd sire. He was purchased from Briggs Ranches at their 2018 Fall Bull Sale. His numbers are good across the board. He exhibits tremendous thickness throughout, is mod- erately framed, structurally correct, has a very clean underline, is very gentle and has that great Santa Gertrudis look. And to add to “Dream- boat’s” story – his dam was 12 years old while raising him. Exportable semen will be available
