When Wendt Partners invited us to consign to this elite offering, we knew 2409 was the type and kind of female to best represent our program, which is focused on moderate, square-made and deep-sided cows that are fertile, profitable producers. This KR 395/18 Trifecta daughter combines all the traits we feel are necessary for producing heifer calves with great maternal traits and steer calves with excellent carcass quality. Her negative BW EPD combined with a WW in the Top 30% of the breed indicates she will not leave any dol lars on the table at weaning. A YW EPD in the Top 10% points to a female that produces calves that continue to add pounds following weaning. 2409’s BBK EPD in the Top 25% of the breed fits nicely in our program that has a strong emphasis on fertility. Add in a tremendous carcass dataset – REA Top 5% and MARB Top 20% – it is hard not to be excited about the future of this female.
