Hello Everyone, We are very excited about our sale April 7, 2020. The Red Alliance has had a long and storied history over the past 18 years where we established Red Angus bulls as a breed that can provide economically relevant traits that generate profits for commercial cattlemen. Your profitability is paramount to us. The Red Angus breed has exploded in popularity for all of the right reasons. For the commercial cattleman, those simple reasons are low to moderate birthweights, great gains by calves on the cow resulting in strong weaning weights, and high maternal performance by Red Angus or Red Angus-influenced cows. Grow yards and packers love these calves because they perform. It is very common for Red Angus-sired calves, especially those enrolled in the Red Angus feeder calf certification program (FCCP), to top video sales all over the country. Red Angus-sired calves grow faster and reach kill weights considerably faster than their English breed counterparts and have excellent performance with high carcass quality. We are focused on bringing you a select group of high quality (vs. high volume) bulls that will be ready to go to work on Day 1. We know Red Angus cattle, we also know our highly qualified competitors and what they have to offer, and what we will tell you is that our bulls are as good as anyone else’s in the country. These bulls have been developed in grass pastures in a careful and steady manner. We do not sell yearling bulls, we sell bulls that are ready to work. All bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam and been tested for BVD-PI and trich per TAHC guidelines. You can buy these bulls with confidence. Our female offering is a diverse selection intended to provide breeders a little bit of everything, including young, open, starter-herd heifers; ready-to-breed open heifers; bred heifers; and cow-calf pairs. In addition, we will have a nice selection of open, commercial Red Angus heifers for folks who want to build their Red Angus herd. This guarantee does not cover mortality and we encourage buyers to consider buying an insurance policy. All bulls covered by our guarantee will require that we retain salvage value for the bull. Any bull kept for 30 days immediately following the sale will incur a $1,000 “breeding use” fee to be applied to any settlement reached with the buyer. Any bulls returned to Red Alliance for non-performance will require a vet statement. This guarantee does not cover injuries. We urge all buyers to carefully introduce new cattle into your existing herds with an abundance of caution. Most injuries to bulls are the result of fighting with other bulls with injuries to legs or testicles. Injuries can occur with females as well. All bulls returned for a guarantee claim must be returned to a member’s ranch within 14 days of submitting a claim. He is a smooth, slick-haired bull and is a “stud-horse” in the breeding pasture, most notably battling heat indexes at 115+ with complete vigilance in identifying anything in heat from corner-to-corner in any pasture or range setting we have put him in. He was prolific in semen production from day one and has a considerable inventory bank in both the United States and Canada. While his sons are quite good, his daughters are great! All EPDs reflected in this catalog and related breed percentage ratings were accurate at the time this catalog was prepared. Regular updates performed by the Red Angus Association may cause some very slight changes to EPDs leading up to the sale date. If you have questions, please feel free to give us a call. Due to large amounts of rain at our development center located in northeast Texas, we used photos of the 2-year-old bulls from when they were 16-18 months old. They have continued to develop quite nicely since that time and are impressively more mature. We are leading off the sale with an excellent group of 2-year-old bulls ready for very heavy service.
