NJSGS Ownership Deadline The ownership deadline for cattle exhibiting in the 2024 National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show in Purebred Female classes 15-24, STAR 5 Female classes 6-9 and Bull classes 8-9 is Nov. 1, 2023. All other classes’ ownership deadline is May 1, 2024. Class 23 in the Purebred Female Show has been split into two classes: Class 23 will be Oct. 1, 2021-Dec. 31, 2021, and Class 24 will be July 1, 2021-Sept. 30, 2021. Payment Required for Certificates To ensure that you receive your certificates and completed work in a timely manner, please ensure you have a credit card on file or pay upon receipt. Our standard turnaround time on work is 24 hours. However, we will not release work until SGBI has received payment. If you are unsure what you owe, please view the new and improved self-billing worksheet on the SGBI website. In addition, members can also generate their own invoices/detailed statements through the “Account” tab on their DigitalBeef profile. We can also easily provide a printed or emailed invoice. AI Certificate Program If you are selling semen on an AI sire that is enrolled in the AI certificate program, you can issue AI certificates yourself! Please visit the “AI Certif icate” tab, click on “Issue new AI certificate” and issue out the number of semen straws (certificates) you have sold to another SGBI member. For all out-of-herd ET registrations: breeders issuing ET certificates can visit the “Embryo Certificate” tab, click on “Issue new ET certificate” and fill in the sire/dam registration number, breeding and flush dates (if available), num ber of certificates that were sold and the herd number of the member receiv ing the certificates. If you have any questions on how to issue certificates, please contact Emma at the SGBI office. 2024 Annual Meeting The 2024 SGBI Annual Meeting will be April 25-27 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
